Privacy policy · Last updated 20 October 2026

This notice explains how Click Kind uses personal information when you visit this website, get in touch or discuss a project with us.

1. Who is responsible for your information?

Click Kind is operated by Connor Langton, based in the United Kingdom. Connor Langton is the controller of personal information described in this notice.

For privacy enquiries or to exercise your rights, email connor.langton@yahoo.co.uk.

2. The information we collect

When you use our enquiry form, we receive your name, email address, selected service and project description. You may also provide a business name and a budget guide. If you contact us by email, we receive the contents of your message and any attachments you choose to send.

Our hosting and security providers process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device details, request times and security-check results to deliver and protect the website. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse.

Please do not include payment-card details, passwords, health information or other sensitive personal information in an enquiry. We obtain enquiry details directly from you and do not buy contact lists.

3. How and why we use your information

PurposeLegal basis
Discuss your requirements, respond to a quote request and take steps towards a project you have requested.Steps at your request before entering a contract, where you would be the contracting party.
Answer general questions, communicate with someone acting for a business and follow up a relevant project enquiry.Legitimate interests in responding to prospective customers and running Click Kind.
Prevent spam, investigate abuse and keep the website and correspondence secure.Legitimate interests in protecting our services and visitors.
Meet applicable record-keeping duties or respond to lawful requests.Compliance with a legal obligation, where one applies.

We limit follow-up to the enquiry you made. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to marketing emails. We do not sell your personal information or use it for decisions made solely by automated systems that have legal or similarly significant effects.

Providing enquiry details is voluntary. Without a contact email and sufficient project information, we may be unable to respond or prepare an estimate.

4. Who receives your information?

The website and enquiry service use the following providers:

  • Cloudflare: website hosting, delivery, request processing, Turnstile security checks and transmission of enquiry emails to our inbox.
  • Yahoo: hosting of the inbox used to receive enquiries and correspond with you.

Form details are sent through the email-delivery service to our inbox. This website does not maintain a separate customer database. We may also disclose relevant information to professional advisers or public authorities where necessary to obtain advice, comply with law or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

These providers may process information outside the UK. Where a restricted international transfer is involved, applicable safeguards must cover that transfer, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contractual safeguards. You can contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your enquiry. Provider notices explain their processing and international arrangements: Cloudflare and Yahoo.

5. How long we keep information

For enquiries that do not become projects, we keep correspondence for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, then delete it unless there is a specific legal reason to retain it. If a project goes ahead, necessary correspondence forms part of the client record; retention then depends on the work, applicable accounting duties and the need to deal with contractual claims.

If information is needed for a dispute or legal obligation, it is retained only for as long as that need continues. Providers may retain technical security records or backup copies for their own documented periods. We review access to enquiry information and use it only for the purposes explained here.

6. Cookies, local storage and security

We do not use advertising cookies, behavioural tracking or website analytics on this version of the site. There are no embedded social feeds or externally hosted fonts.

The privacy popup stores a small preference called clickkind-essential-choice-v1 in your browser’s local storage. It contains your essential-only choice and an expiry time, not your name or email. We check that preference for up to 180 days so the popup does not reappear on every visit. Expired preferences are ignored and can be removed using your browser’s site-data controls.

If you choose light or dark mode, we store your selection in clickkind-theme on this device until you change it or clear site data. If you switch animations on or off, we store that choice in clickkind-motion. Choosing “Use device setting” removes the animation choice. These settings contain only your display preferences.

Opening the café app trial downloads its page, images and app files to a browser cache called clickkind-trial- followed by a version number, so the demo can work offline. These files remain until removed by you or your browser. The trial offers a “Remove offline demo files” control. Sample basket and order actions are held only in the current page’s memory and reset on reload; they are not sent to Click Kind as orders.

Cloudflare Turnstile is loaded when you interact with the enquiry form. It processes technical browser information for anti-spam checks and may use essential browser storage. We do not use Turnstile pre-clearance on this site. These protections are used for security, not advertising.

You can reopen the notice using in the footer, or clear stored site data in your browser. Blocking necessary security features may prevent the form from working; you can still email us. If we introduce optional tracking in future, this notice and the relevant controls will be updated before it is enabled.

7. Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances and the legal basis involved, you may request access to your information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction of processing, or a portable copy of information you provided.

Your right to object: you can object to processing based on legitimate interests, including further enquiry follow-up. Tell us what you would like us to stop. We will consider your request under the applicable data protection rules.

If we ever rely on consent for a separate activity, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. We do not rely on consent simply to answer an enquiry.

To make a request, email connor.langton@yahoo.co.uk. We may ask for enough information to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month; where a permitted extension applies, we will explain it. Requests are normally free of charge.

8. Questions, complaints and updates

Please contact Connor Langton at connor.langton@yahoo.co.uk if you have a concern about how information is handled.

You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Visit ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, call 0303 123 1113, or write to the Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF.

We may update this notice when the website or the way we work changes. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
